Real-Time Spacecraft Anomaly Detection Using AMD Versal Adaptive SoCs

Join us as we hear the latest news from AMD on how their Versal adaptive SoCs provide an ideal platform for advanced signal processing in space-flight applications. Combining scalar and vector processing resources with traditional FPGA logic gates, memory, and DSP resources, these SoCs empower the integration of dense signal processing systems in challenging environments.

After the product update the session will then cover the design and implementation of a real-time spacecraft telemetry anomaly detection system, leveraging recurrent neural networks (RNN) with long shortterm memory (LSTM) on the AIE-ML vector processing engines of the AMD XQRVE2302 adaptive SoC. We’ll also discuss the latest qualification and radiation data for AMD XQR Versal adaptive SoCs, and examine how their reconfigurable heterogeneous computing resources enable demanding applications like digital beamforming and STAP radar processing.
