A more intelligent way to manage power

The number of smart devices is increasing exponentially. With this proliferation, there is a growing demand for quick and efficient power delivery as well as data sharing.

NXP USB Type-C Smart Charging SMPS System employs USB power delivery to meet this demand. USB power bricks or chargers are able to supply power through a laptop’s USB ports. So only one AC plug is needed to power all the devices with a single cable used to transport data, power and display. Each connected device automatically detects the power delivery requirements and capability (up to 100W), taking only the power it needs, getting more power when required and even providing the power. That’s power management at its most optimal.
